The piaffe is a high school movement and the pinnacle of collection. It teaches the lowering of the haunches, strengthes the back -, abdominal and hindquarter musculature, improves balance and coordination, trains the carrying capacity and improves suppleness.
\nWe like to prepare the piaffe in-hand at an early stage. The work-in hand offers a wonderful opportunity to build confidence and create variety.<\/p>\n

In this course, we will show you our way to the piaffe with different horses – from the very first steps in-hand all the way to a beautiful Grand Prix level piaffe.<\/p>\n
In the end, the piaffe should be light and dance-like, the horse should push off powerfully in perfect balance, lower the haunches, swing over the back and react proudly to the finest rider aids.
