KK Ultra Bradoon

Here at our yard in Aubenhausen, the KK ULTRA bits by Sprenger are practically standard equipment for horses with “normal” sized mouths and “normal” tongues. We have found that many horses feel very comfortable with the KK ULTRA bradoon in a double bridle and that the contact improves significantly as a result.

Just like the KK ULTRA snaffle, the KK Ultra bradoon also achieves its unique, precise effect through the special 45° angle of the middle link. When used correctly, this promotes the horse’s trust in the rider’s hand and the double bridle.

Compared to other conventional bits, the middle link of the KK Ultra bradoon is shorter. This anatomical adaptation noticeably optimizes the effect compared to conventional double jointed bits. When the reins are taken up, the middle link rolls gently over the central part of the horse’s tongue – thanks to its distinctive shape – and thus stimulates the horse’s sense of touch.
